Sorrento Restaurant & Bar
Sitting out on the newly renovated very spacious deck, sipping on today’s special a Sorrento Sunrise.
We can hardly tear our gaze away from what is probably the best sunset in town. Perfectly situated on the edge of the marina, jutting out towards the Coral Sea.
The marina on your left, looks just like a mirrored lagoon, reflecting the white yachts, giving you an unbelievable view that you will defiantly want to take a quick snap of.
To your right you can see out across the coral sea all the way to the islands on the horizon watching the boats coming and going thought the marina entrance.
The protective hill of Airlie Beach behind you and a boardwalk running right past the front of the deck it is a great place for a cold one and a spot of people watching.
With a wide selection of meals on offer you can choose between a lite bite from the tapas style lunch menu along with pastas, pizzas & salads.
I would definitely recommend the Calamari it’s so fresh & tender.
There are also a lot of delicious dinner options, one of which is the reef and beef. A succulent steak cooked to your liking topped off with fresh oysters, tasty prawns & a spanner crab béarnaise sauce served with garlic parmesan mash & sautéed greens, then finish with one of the heavenly desserts.
A great time to visit is between 3 pm and 5 pm when they have a 2 for 1 offer on the pizzas and a wide selection of pasta dishes for just $15 each. With happy hour between 4 pm and 5 pm its the perfect place to share some delicious Italian style pizza and a few sun downers.
